CASA For Clermont Kids!

Court Appointed Special Advocates For Children

Welcome

A safe, permanent home isn't something a child should only dream about...

Each year over 1,000,000 abused, neglected and abandoned children are thrust into court through no fault of their own.  Each of these children need an advocate, an informed person that can clearly identify, document and present their needs and best interest.

You can be helpful to a child at a frightening and bewildering time.

You can help that child understand the confusing court process and foster care system.

You can speak up for that child.

CASA For Clermont Kids! is a local non-profit agency that is working to improve the lives of abused, neglected and dependent children of Clermont County.
Our trained community volunteers are appointed by the Clermont County Juvenile Court Judge to represent the best interests of our victim children. CASA/GALs (Guardians Ad Litem) are the voice of the child in the courtroom and the eyes and ears of the Court outside of the Courtroom.

The mission of CASA For Clermont Kids! is to assure permanence in a safe, loving family where the child/children can be respected and establish the dignity that all children deserve.

CASA/GALS meet that mission by investigating the child's circumstances, reviewing records and talking with anyone who has information about the child and their family.  Factual, objective reports are prepared for the court.  CASA helps children replace a life of hurt with one of hope.
