The CASA For Clermont Kids!
Duffel Bag Campaign strives to make one of the most
difficult situations for a child a little easier.
Usually when children are removed from dangerous situations
in their homes by law enforcement and Children's Protective
Services and put
into foster care, they carry what little possessions they
have, if any, in garbage bags. The Duffel Bag campaign
is working to eliminate this indignity forever by providing
every child that enters into the foster care system in
Clermont County with a duffel bag, complete with blanket, pillow, personal care
items, toys and school supplies. In the winter, the bags will
also contain a pair of gloves, a scarf, and hat and other
like items. This way a child will always have
something to call their own. These amenities help ease
their pain and fears, sending a clear message that they are
a part of a caring and compassionate community
Our
campaign is fully funded by the community generosity.
Cash donations as well as product donations are welcomed.
No administrative fees are deducted and the entire sum will
be directed towards helping the children.
