CASA For Clermont Kids!

Court Appointed Special Advocates For Children

Volunteer Opportunities 

Our trained community volunteers are appointed by the Clermont County Juvenile Court Judge to represent the best interests of our victim children. CASA/GALs (Guardians Ad Litem) are the voice of the child in the courtroom and the eyes and ears of the Court outside of the Courtroom.
 
 

CASA volunteers are ordinary people
They work along side attorneys, social workers and other professionals as appointed officials of the Court.

Volunteer Positions Available:

●   Guardian Ad Litem (GAL)
●   Administrative
●   Duffle Bag Campaign
●   Speaker's Bureau
●   Fund Raising Committee
 

Become A CASA/GAL Volunteer:

●   Be 21 years of age or older
 
●   Complete an application
 
●   Successfully complete a screening, interview and background check
 

 

●   Attend 40 hours of orientation/pre-service training
●   Agree to serve the best interest of your appointed child, understanding that case status mandates time requirements varying from three to twelve hours monthly
●   Commit to seeing a case through to completion and maintaining an active status for at least two years
